Children can’t feel the difference in taste between tap and bottled water
On 9th of November WRL members Brigita Dalecka, Viktorija Denisova, Sandis Dejus and Janis Rubulis visited kindergarten «Pienenīte» in Ulbroka, Stopinu district. During the visit laboratory members met more than 70 children with the interest on environmental and drinking water issues. The presentation about the sustainable usage of drinking water, the comparison between tap and bottled water quality and price and drinking water resources was performed by Sandis. Also the experiment on tap and bottled water taste comparison was carried out by girls. Experimental results showed that children can’t feel the difference in taste between tap and bottled water.
